I read a story about it a while ago, maybe someone can find it, but some guy was going to restore it for his son to drive to high school

Watched it too. Have not seen it in many, many years. This time I paid more attention to the ancillary cars in the background. Holy crap, there were some fine vehicles in that movie. Most were just extras. But that yellow Porsche...Sweet Mother of Jesus.
